Rare Earth SmCo Countersunk Magnet

Samarium Cobalt (SmCo) magnets are composed of Samarium, Cobalt and other metallic rare earth materials.  these rare earth magnets are extremely strong, metallic in appearance and sable physical property .These magnets could be in simple shapes also could be made according to customer's need.

A SmCo countersunk magnet is a SmCo ring magnet with one side appearing as a standard ring but the other side has an angled countersink to ideally allow a screw head to fit inside flush, the countersink angle usually being (but not always) 90 degrees.

Our advantages

The SmCo ring magnets, SmCo countersunk ring magnets, and SmCo counterbore ring magnets are all usually axially magnetized (magnetized along the central axis). It is possible to produce these magnets in a diametrically magnetized form upon request we produce custom magnets.

We can custom produce the magnets to have a protective coating such as nickel or black epoxy (for enhanced corrosion protection) – other platings are possible. Alternative grades of SmCo magnet are also possible because we produce custom magnets.
